We chose rosemary for its long relationship with memory, and for the way it’s often associated with focus and presence. Over the past two years, that theme became deeply personal when Sara’s dad received an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. We stepped into caregiving sooner than expected, took a pause last year, and found ourselves holding memory with a new kind of care and attention.
In the meantime, life kept unfolding. We biked across the Netherlands, went to F1 races in Zandvoort and Montreal, traveled back and forth to the East Coast many many times, made things in our studio, sponsored shows at our local community theater, and kept refining our vegan ice cream experiments.
This candle is a thank you for shared memories, continued connection, and for being part of our lives, then and now.
With love,
Geoff and Sara
